Laser dentistry is one of the most modern and innovative technologies today in clinical dentistry. This course presents the applications of lasers in all disciplines in dentistry and gives the opportunity for dentists and specialists to evaluate the use of lasers for hard and soft tissue applications. This is the first meeting of the North American Division of the World Federation for Laser Dentistry (WFLD) and gives an opportunity for clinicians to be certified by the WFLD.

 

Objectives:
  • To introduce laser technology to dentists;
  • To present the different laser wavelengths for clinical dentistry;
  • To present clinical protocols for hard and soft tissue applications;
  • To present the safety of lasers and how to avoid complications from laser use.
